Open Lot studio artists present an array of media and content in works ranging from paintings to make-up stylings to video that share a single common element: the horizontal stripe. A zip-line of color uniformly winds in, out of, and on top of every piece in Open Line, presenting the relation between classification with purpose and unity for unity’s sake.

Aman Amun + 84001 | 7:30-9 PM

Often compared to Laurie Anderson or the Nine Inch Nails, Aman Amun combines the visual and musical performance into one. His live electronic music is generative, creating a visual light show that he, in turn, interacts with and manipulates with touch (think Nintendo Wii meets experimental DJing). Aman Amun attempts to bridge the gaps between high art and popular music, DJing and live performance, and live performance and theatre.
